Researchers develop tough 3D printed hydrogels
Biocompatible hydrogels will play an important role in medicine in the future. The injectable materials may deliver drugs or cells into the body; serve as scaffolding for regenerating load-bearing tissues; they could also be used as tough but flexible actuators for future robots. Researchers have now found a way to make these tough biocompatible materials using a 3D printer.

Prodways receives 10 million Euros from Fimalac Group
Prodways has made a name for itself in the European market as the producer of the ProMaker series of printers that serves a range of industries and bio-medical applications ranging from jewelry to dental. Prodways was acquired by Group Gorgé in 2013. Now, the French holding company Fimalac invested 10 million Euros in the 3D printing company.
