Reflow plans to make filament from plastic bottles
When plastic bottles are not properly recycled, they can turn into an environmental problem. Reflow, an organization based in the Netherlands, plans to change that. It developed a new kind of filament made from plastic bottles. The company states that revenues will flow right back to the waste collectors who are often underpaid.

Bordeaux shows broad range of innovative ink solutions at drupa 2016
Bordeaux Digital Printink will showcase its full range of inks at drupa 2016. The new inks that were developed to meet the increasing demands in a dynamic market include PLASMA HF and EDEN PG. PLASMA HF is a new printer specific UV ink for the HP Scitex 500/700. The new EDEN PG pigment ink is a novel solution for digital textile printing.

ITG releases secure mobile printing solution
Several apps have been introduced recently to make printing from smartphones and tablets safer. But one risk factor remained: Even if the network was secured, the document could still fall into the wrong hands on site. Integration Technologies Group, Inc. (ITG) has now announced a new secure print management application, PriMaS. ITG’s PriMaS secure print application allows users to release print jobs directly from their smartphones; it also ensures that the user is physically present at a network printer to retrieve printed materials.

Leaders of the ink industry are heading to drupa 2016
As the global printing industry heads to Dusseldorf from May 31st to June 10th, ink makers will be showing their newest concepts. Among the leading ink manufacturers to present their innovations are the Flint Group, Toyo Ink, Sakata INX, Siegwerk and many others. Highlights include UV-curable flexo inks, eco-friendly inks and conductive inks.

Duplo shows almost a dozen new products at drupa 2016
Duplo’s comprehensive portfolio will be on display at drupa 2016. It covers bookletmakers, saddlestitchers, collators, multifinishers, binders, folders and duplicators. There will be almost a dozen new products on show for visitors to the Duplo stand at drupe 2016. One of Duplo’s new products will be the PFi Di-CUT 300, an on-demand die-cutter.

Denmaur restores eco brand
Denmaur Independent Papers resurrected and refreshed Revive Recycled Paper following its purchase of the brand from Paperlinx administrators in 2015. The launch of the paper was preceded by a seminar on environmental issues. The seminar offered insights from leading experts on environmental and sustainability matters, from speakers including prominent environmentalist Jonathon Porritt and the WWF’s Julia Young, with stark warnings over climate change and guidance on the action that must be taken.
