Birds Eye Launches New Packaging Identity Design For Fish Finger Range
Recently, Birds Eye has announced to work on redesigning its popular product range Fish Fingers together with brand design consultancy Brandon. The leading frozen food supplier choses to revive Captain Birds Eye for the new packaging identity in order to remind parents of their childhood memories, often related to this brand ambassador and thereby connect the product with the idea of a happy family.

Limited Edition of Tostitos Tortilla Chips Comes With Smart Packaging Features
In cooperation with Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Frito-Lay integrated smart features into the packaging of its Tostitos Party Safe bags for a special Super Bowl promotion. The limited edition is equipped with an alcohol sensor, LED lights, and an NFC-enabled tag able to call Uber for a ride. The tortilla chips were distributed at selected Super Bowl events to raise attention on the dangers of driving after drinking.

30th Anniversary of the Association of European Producers of Steel for Packaging
In order to celebrate its 30th anniversary, the Association of European Producers of Steel for Packaging commissioned Roland ten Klooster. As part of a campaign, telling the story of the last 30 years of steel for packaging, the professor of packaging design and Management at Holland’s University of Twente should visualize the future and the vital role steel for packaging.

Qualvis Print & Packaging Installs a Uniquely Configured Double Digital Packaging Line
Qualvis Print & Packaging has announced an important digital packaging investment involving a uniquely configured double digital packaging line, incorporating a high degree of automation. The workflow system covers a Xerox iGen 4 sheet-fed digital printer and an iGen5 automated line, and is thereby able to match a larger gamut of Pantone colors and deliver 2400 x 2400 dpi resolution.
