Today the focus is on the Management Assistant in Digital and Print Media. This profession is one of the most popular ones amongst job-starters in germany in the last years.
What Does a Management Assistant in Digital and Print Media Do?
Management Assistants in Digital and Print Media are the marketer within the Printing and Media Industry. They are controlling all marketing-measures, which are adapted to the product of the company. Because no matter how good a certain product is, if there is no marketing concept, you would never buy it, because you simply wouldn’t know about it. The products, that need to be sold, can be both, printed or digital. Printed products can be books or magazines and digital products can be apps for example. Management Assistants in Digital and Print Media are coordinating marketing concepts for promoting a company’s products. Thereby they need to ask themselves which target group they want to address, how the product should be presented and what the campaign should look like. To make those decisions, Management Assistant’s day is full of meetings and phone calls. Besides that, they need to watch the development of the market, to always be informed about new products and developments.
There are two main tasks of a Management Assistant in Digital and Print Media: communicating and calculating. That means having fun with writing longer texts and economical topics is quite helpful. Furthermore, you are always in touch with other departments, customers or advertising agencies.
