About The Gin Packaging Project

The special project series known as highlight-guide presents best practices and creative applications in which exhibitors showcase their implementation. As part of the campaign, printing technology, software applications, finishing highlights, cross-media as well as marketing measures for brands and products are unlocked live at the trade show.

r[h]eingin, a gin producer from Duesseldorf, is looking for a high-quality packaging for its city edition of Duesseldorf and Cologne. The gin’s design was created by Jacques Tilly, a local artist known for his political satire. Without further ado, such an attention-grabbing creative solution is to be born as part of the highlight project. The finishing and packaging specialist Achilles Gruppe develops the packaging in collaboration with the laser technology expert Highlight Media, Audio Logo GmbH, who focus on emotionalisation and interactivity, and LIMEGO GmbH, a full service provider in digital printing and finishing. To entice your curiosity, the popular gin not only comes with a bottle of tonic water and botanicals but also with exciting lighting and finishing effects. The all-you-need gin set is packed in a special twin box. As a way of greeting, the bottles are illuminated after opening the box.

Are you as excited as we are about the oncoming gin packaging highlight project? What light and finishing effects will there be when you open the packaging? Take your guess and let us know in the comment section.
